Dr. Ekhlassi is a board-certified dermatologist, born and raised in Houston, Texas. He went to college at the University of Texas in Austin, where he studied microbiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 2016, before completing his residency training as a Chief Resident in dermatology at the University of South Florida.

Following residency, Dr. Ekhlassi had the privilege of working at Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston, Massachusetts. While in Boston, he had the opportunity to work with a large population of patients with poor health care access. Dr. Ekhlassi is excited to be back in the Tampa Bay Area and is honored to serve the Bradenton community.

He has a particular interest in the care of medically complex cases as well as skin cancer screening and cutaneous surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and exploring the waters of Tampa Bay by boat.

Dr. Aung-Din is a board-certified dermatologist, born and raised in Jacksonville, FL where his family still lives. He grew up playing lacrosse, sailing, surfing, fishing and has always enjoyed the many outdoor activities Florida offers. Dr. Aung-Din then attended Florida State University and majored in Exercise Science. Knowing that he always wanted to live and practice in Florida, he attended Florida State University College of Medicine, graduating in 2019, and subsequently chose University of South Florida Department of Dermatology for dermatology residency.

Dr. Aung-Din is very grateful for the diverse training experiences offered at University of South Florida, working at Moffit Cancer Center, James a Haley VA, Tampa General Hospital, and USF clinical sites. Dr. Aung-Din’s passion is taking care of his patients and is looking forward to practicing general Dermatology for many years to come.
